Pathogens of High Consequence

We are also monitoring for several high-consequence pathogens, including Andes hantavirus, Ebola virus, Marburg virus, Lassa virus, Nipah virus, and avian influenza (bird flu) markers.

These data are not displayed publicly. Because detections of these pathogens are rare and may require contextual interpretation before public release, any detections will be communicated promptly with the CDC, state & local health departments, and the contributing WWTP. Public communication will be coordinated through the relevant public health jurisdictions.
